David didn’t tell me to put this card anywhere in particular. I was thinking about how the language of this card displaces thoughts of other people to a separate space and time. So when I want to the Soviet War Memorial in Treptower Park in Berlin I thought about the shift in remembering not just people from the past but an entire "other" national Soviet identity that's gone but very physically present.
