Postcards For A Grand Tour

Jordan Darby

Jordan wanted me to leave this card at the site of a terrorist attack. However, while I was visiting the Grand Palais in Paris, the indulgent, critically bankrupt installation by Huang Yong Ping, which used idiotic metaphorical symbolism to create a disingenuous critique of globalization was so enraging, so obviously just an excuse to make something that would fail the space, that it made me think about the quote in Jordan's alarming postcard so I left the card at a prime viewing spot and high-tailed it outta there. On the plus-side there was a band doing a sound check and the acoustics in the place were insane.
